Rogue Wave

Platform status

Per-region operational state and maintenance notices are published on the status service. This page describes what is covered and how to reach us if something looks wrong.

Live state is not published here. This page is part of the marketing site and is built ahead of time, so anything it said about the health of a region would be a guess by the time you read it. The status service is the one place that reflects current conditions, including planned maintenance windows.

Regions in scope

Every region below runs the same platform, and each is monitored independently of the others.

  • Toronto, Ontario AMD Ryzen 9 7950X
  • Washington, D.C. AMD EPYC 4564P
  • Brussels, Belgium AMD Ryzen 9 9900X

What is monitored

Checks cover the parts of the platform a customer depends on:

  • Network reachability from each of the four regions
  • Hypervisor availability on the compute nodes
  • The provisioning API that builds and resizes servers
  • The client portal used for billing and server control

Anything running inside your VPS is yours to watch. You hold full root or administrator access, you open your own ports through the firewall, and we do not reach into the guest to check on your services.

Reporting a problem

If you believe something is broken, write to support@roguewavehosting.com and say which region you are in, the IPv4 address of the affected server, and what you were doing when it failed. That is usually enough to skip a round of questions. Reports of abuse coming from our network go to abuse@roguewavehosting.com.

Not a customer yet and want to try a region for yourself? Build your VPS and pick the location closest to the people you are serving.
